This presentation will be about World Trade Center memories.
Everyone knows what happened on 11th September, 2001 in the U.S. On that day terrorist from al-Qaeda hijacked four passenger air planes and crashed two of them into the WTC Towers. Both towers fell into ruins. Hijackers from al-Qaeda crashed the third air plane into Pentagon and the fourth plane into a field near Shanksville Pennsylvania. The passengers and the flight crew from the last plane wanted to take control of the plane which terrorists wanted to crash into the Capitol or White House. Everything was happening in the morning of NY time, when most of people were at work and in Poland it was early afternoon hours. Most people in Poland came backed from work or school, turned on TV and …. froze – as it was with me. I came back from school, turned on the TV and froze. It was incredible and I was convinced that it was some American movie or something like that. But I changed the TV channel and everywhere was the same picture. I realized that this nightmare was really happening. I was standing and couldn't believe what I was seeing, when the second plane hit into the next tower. Because it was very terrifying, I remember the whole day and all the situation very well – definitely the same as you.
This phenomenon, concected to good situation's memory, is known in psychology as a contextual memory or source memory. It means that we remember when and where we heard about some important situation or incident.
Thanks to this, we can describe in detail this situation -when we heard or saw something scary or dangerous. So it was with the president’s Tupolew crash and terrorist attack on the WTC towers.
Therefore I ask you to describe a situation when the first time you heard about this terrorist attack. Where were you, what did you do and how do you remember that day?

Do you know that the Americans want to rebuild WTC complex? Construction works began in 2006 and they planned to end works in 2016. The largest building in the new WTC complex will be Freedom Tower. This tower will measure 1776 feet (541,32 meters) – quite a lot:). 1776 feet symbolizes the date when U.S. Declaration of Independence was issued and replace twin towers.
In the new WTC complex there will be also three smaller towers and Memorial Museum with souvenirs of 11th September. This whole complex will cost more than 20 billion dollars.
In this picture you can see the WTC 7 tower which was completed in 2008. This tower is the most environmentally friendly office building in the world.

ReplyDeleteFew years after WTC collapsed I saw those movies. I was relay surprised...and still I am. Everything here shows us that events from 11th September were only played. Perfectly planned and created play, form the very beginning. According to Osama bin Laden topic, I'm still belief that he was only a chessman and those events being made as a fake.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand everywhere where accident happen: a specially accident that we haven't even expected. People would be trying to find guilties and blame all they could. Have a quick view on a Smolensk case. Based on peoples speeches and interviews main suspicions were directed to government and Russia - as an assassination.

Sorry but these videos doesn't prove anything at all, we can only see building collapsing. It's just your interpretation that it was caused by controlled demolition.
ReplyDeleteProblem with 9/11 conspiracy theories is that none of them is in my opinion consistent and make sense.
Most funny ones are these claiming that missile hit Pentagon instead of plane or that southern tower has been hit with a military plane :).
But if it was not Al-Qaeda then who?
If you assume that US Government is behind this and then what would they gain from it?
Justification for invasion of Iraq were WMD not 9/11, why would they invade Afghanistan if not for hunting Al- Qaeda?
Why would they attack pentagon? WTC was absolutely enough to cause public outrage.
What about the plane which has fallen in Pennsylvania, what would that be for?
Why would they make so many mistakes?
You may believe in these theories but for me official version is the only one which makes sense.
s4480 - problem is many people belive that WTC-7 was destroyed by controlled demolition, southern tower was hit by military plane, Pentagon was hit by military missile and those planes who hit these towers never existed :P
ReplyDeleteI remember that day quite good - I came back home from school and turned on Tv. There was special programme about it and I could not believe in what I saw. At the beginning I thought that I am watching some movie, unfortunately it was real. My sister which was at the US that days working there on holidays was 2 day earlier on WTC - and also because of this fact I was shocked how lucky was she/ and what could happen if she would decide to visit it that day..

A lot of people say that it could be even done by the US to have a reason to start new war (ofcourse everything is about oil here) - I do not know what to believe in but I have watched a lot of 'conspiracy theory' movies about this catastrophy and one interesting was this here: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=11+wrze%C5%9Bnia+niewygodne+fakty&aq=1&oq=11+wrze - I am not saying that what they say there is true but it is interesting
I read the reviews on this subject and I think nobody believes in the WTC and Osama and terrorists in America. For me it, Americans are terrorists .. It is they invade other countries and in the majesty of the "law" they do what they want ... Why?, because American dream slowly falling, the dollar falling, oil is not in the states, the economy is poured and needs to be rescue by all cost, and the Chinese have enough U.S. dollars that they could buy whole Manhattan five times ... and Americans have a debt the astronomical sum 10 000 000 000 000 $

ReplyDeleteIt is one in many things that we will never know the truth for sure. We can only speculate but what for. It cannot change anything. I have also watched some films about government conspiracy but I don't want to believe it. On the other hand I am sure that we live in a huge delusion in which common people are treated only like a pawns.
ReplyDeleteI remember that day very well. It was really unbelievable that something like this can happen nowadays. It was a real horror.
Today I watched a program on TV about the World Trade Center. There are many versions of the histories from WTC and Smolensk disasters. The truth is that many people believe that for these events are the responsibility of governments. I believe that it is not possible because it is too complicated and such attacks to finally come to light. In the world there are so many specialists, including people who are interested in - they did everything to get to know the truth and if it were otherwise - surely we have heard about it.
